Vernessa has been in the legal field in both Columbus and Atlanta, with experience in the areas of personal injury, criminal, civil rights, and probate. Vernessa has previously worked with The Wright Legal Group, LLC, and Kenneth S. Nugent, P.C. law firms.
Vernessa is an Army brat who grew up in Columbus, Georgia. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in English at the University of Georgia and was a Peace Corps volunteer teaching English as a second language in the Republic of Georgia from April 2019- March 2020. She was evacuated back to the United States due to the pandemic.
Vernessa is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated. She loves to travel, read, and write in her leisure time and is a dog mom to her loving chihuahua, Priscilla.
