Eric has been practicing law since 1989 when he joined the Atlanta law firm of Swift, Currie, McGhee, and Hiers straight out of law school. In 1994, he felt the pull of a more “result oriented” practice and opened his own firm which focused on the representation of Plaintiffs in a wide variety of litigated matters – from automobile negligence to insurance coverage matters. Since that time, he has been the managing partner of three different firms, all focusing on the representation of catastrophically injured victims and their families, as well as insurance carriers in high-end fire and water subrogation claims. Eric is usually on the go, and it is not uncommon to find him donning a hard hat to inspect a burned out structure, or riding in a helicopter to survey an explosion site!
When he isn’t working, Eric can usually be found playing basketball or tennis, reading a good book, or cheering on the Miami Dolphins, the Atlanta Braves, and the Atlanta Hawks!
